Wednesday 15th January 2014 After a wet night it had stopped raining by dawn, but not for long with heavy showers during the day. I took Grandma to her pacemaker clinic and whilst I waited for her to come out drove to a lay-by rather than pay a fine to the NHS for waiting on their premises. Stopped the car to make a phone call or two only to find it wouldn't start, luckily there was a slight slope all-be it the wrong way but I managed to bump start the car backwards with a little help from another bloke who was parked as well. In the afternoon I took the car to Dennis at the garage and he decided we needed a new battery.
