First thing I spoke at great length to Nigel Perry of Perrys of Oakley the manufacturers of the elevators and conveyors, I needed to resolve the problem of the overload tripping on the screw conveyor, and secondly try to correct the overflow to get more grain to go to the dryer. The suggestions are that the screw conveyor needs a cover closer and parallel to it than what we have at the moment. We were also unaware that the overflow unit needs to have at least 1 foot of straight ducting between the elevator and it to allow the grain turbulance to settle down. I took Ros and Simon to the train and posted my bluetooth ear piece for repair and Ette's contact lenses. David came with his load of wheat from G Jenkins we unloaded it and added another 10 tonnes from the shed and when I stopped the dryer I had to make sure the hopper was empty. Robin called by and stayed for dinner he arranged to call out in the morning to see if we can sort the problems. David took the Landrover home.
